Why AFIS Began
A Purpose Greater Than Business
AFIS grew from a heartfelt belief: the continued care of children in need should be strengthened by a dependable and sustainable source of income, rather than relying entirely on donations.
This purpose is closely connected to the children cared for by Pusat Jagaan Anak-Anak Yatim Darul Aitam in Kuala Ketil, Kedah. The centre supports children from diverse backgrounds, including orphans, children with disabilities, those facing mental-health challenges, and children referred through welfare services.
Contributions from individuals, organisations, NGOs, and welfare agencies are always welcomed. At the same time, AFIS works towards greater self-reliance through responsible entrepreneurship—creating a business whose growth can help sustain meaningful care for the future.
